A Company Built on Experience
Joplin Trailer was founded in 1979 and has remained locally owned throughout its history. In 1997, Steve Parker purchased the company and has continued expanding its capabilities while maintaining its foundation of reliability and straightforward service.
Our leadership reflects decades of hands-on industry knowledge:
- Service Manager Joe Sullenger has been with Joplin Trailer since 1983.
- Parts Manager David Brisco has served customers here since 1982.

Rebuilt with Commitment After the 2011 Joplin Tornado
In 2011, the devastating Joplin tornado destroyed our facility. Rather than relocate or reduce operations, we rebuilt from the ground up – right here in Joplin.
The rebuild was more than construction. It was a commitment to our employees, our customers, and our community. We chose to reinvest locally because this is home.
Today’s facility reflects that resilience and provides expanded capacity to serve customers throughout:

Expansion Through Mobile Storage Systems
As part of continued growth, Steve Parker expanded operations with the creation of Mobile Storage Systems. This separate division manages trailer rentals and container rentals, providing additional flexibility and equipment availability.
Mobile Storage Systems allows us to better serve customers requiring temporary storage solutions and rental equipment throughout Joplin, Springfield, Bentonville, Tulsa, Southeast Kansas, and surrounding areas.
